I’m Mark — producer, songwriter, and the guy behind Softklub, my indie music project where I spend most of my time crafting sounds that don’t fit neatly into boxes. I’ve written and produced for my band Nicolas Rage, worked with artists like Tianda, and spent years in the studio chasing that perfect take.

Photography started as a side effect of my work in social media marketing — I needed visuals that didn’t suck, so I learned to shoot them myself. Turns out the same instincts that make a song hit differently apply to portraits: timing, atmosphere, authenticity, and knowing when to let someone just exist instead of performing.

Here’s what working with me actually looks like: We’re not doing the photographer-subject power dynamic where I bark directions and you try to figure out what “look natural” means. My sessions are collaborative. I’m producing the shoot the same way I’d produce a track — we’re building something together, adjusting as we go, finding what works. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s capturing something that feels true.
